The sandman series is the story of Dream of the Endless, one of 7 eternal beings each in charge of one aspect of life. The sandman is a story about stories, about storytelling and about the blurring of the line between the story and the storyteller. I admit it, I've cheated in places. Some of these are direct quotes rather than the things I've learnt. My only excuse is that nothing I could write would ever make the point as well.
